The concept of "OpenStructures System" (OS System), came up initially by Thomas Lommé, is an open-source design cooperation system with the idea of doing modular design projects by sharing parts, components and structures between the participating designers. This OS system provides me an opportunity to apply the components made by others, such as a lampshade and a ball join. I have designed a cement lamp base and several plastic connectors on the basis of the shared geometrical grid of OS System. With the use of other components, an OS lamp has been created during my internship in "Lofi Studio".
Benefiting from the modular constructions, users are able to assemble an ideal table lamp, a combination of various components, according to their respective requirements.
